How to Install and Use XLR8R Web Accelerator software

1. Download.
· Click on the link above to download the XLR8R installer.
· Download the installer to your desktop.
· Once the download has completed, proceed to Step 2.

2. Install.
· On your Desktop you will find an icon called "XLR8R.exe".
· Double-click the icon to start the installation procedure.
· Once the installation finishes you will be prompted for a username and password. Enter your username and password in the following format

username: username@relia.net
password: (your_password)

· To avoid having to enter your username and password each time, ensure that the "Save Password" box is checked and then proceed to Step 3.

3. Starting XLR8R.
· XLR8R Web Accelerator is automatically started when your computer starts up.
· Acceleration will begin as soon as a supported browser (such as Internet Explorer or Netscape) or a supported e-mail client (such as Microsoft Outlook or Eudora) is started.
· On some Windows platforms a bubble icon will appear when the XLR8R Service has been established. On all other Windows platforms, you can verify that XLR8R Service has been established by hovering over the XLR8R tray icon (you should see a "XLR8R Service Enabled..." message).

4. Using XLR8R.
· Browse the web or download e-mail as you normally would.
· Your web access or e-mail access will be automatically accelerated by XLR8R Web Accelerator.
· If you desire to stop the application, select Stop XLR8R from the pop-up menu, or if you desire to exit the application completely, click Exit from the pop-up menu.

Note: We do not recommend using the web acceleration software in conjunction with some proxy-based web filtering programs, nor is it recommended for Broadband users. Please check with us if you have any questions.

XLR8R does NOT speed up file downloads (over FTP or file sharing programs), streaming audio/video and HTTPS (secure web sites).
