The HARP (Lyra)

In the summer sky, Vega is the brightest star we can see.  Vega is part of the asterism, the Summer Triangle along with Deneb and Altair.  The constellation is fairly dim, but can be found by looking for two stars atop each other to the lower-right of Vega.  From there the rest of the constellation can be traced.  Between these two stars is the beautiful Ring Nebula M57 (about 4 (?) light years away) which looks like a smoke ring.  This is the remnate of a star that exploded thousands of years ago with its outer shell of gas spreading outwards.
