The VIRGIN (Virgo)

The Virgin is a large constellation and part of the Zodiac.  Fairly easy to find among the lesser magnitude stars in the area is the blue colored, 1st magnitude star, Spica.  Spica is located in a rather awkward part of the body--her rear end.  To remember Spica, think of having a spike in that place! The Virgin usually can be found lying on her back.  Some say she has a belt on while others say its a hulla hoop.  Once you start with Spica, trace out the skirt, body, head and arm.
